I recently finished a cosplay of one of Ezio's Assassin Apprentices from Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood for Comic-con, and did a photo-shoot. I'm still planning to make a leather vambrace and short blade/sheath for it for next year 8)

No problem! ^^ Awww well thank you for making such wonderful work for me to appreciate, favorite, and comment on ^^ haha <3 Im glad i could make you smile : D you deserved every comment and favorite <3
Thank you! c8 I designed the costume based on a combination of Ezio's original outfit from ACII, and his Assassin apprentice: [link] So I tried to get the colors and contrast close to their designs 8) I'm glad you like it!
Thank you! It took me a couple months to make it, so if you started now you could still finish on time for Halloween 8) I designed the costume (you can see some of that process here: [link]) and then drew up a pattern for the main vest part: [link] and from there, measured that pattern on myself and cut it out of tissue paper. I did research on the materials I needed and made a list of all of them, then bought them at various fabrics/craft stores or online. At that point, using the tissue mock-up for reference, I started sewing it all together based on that. I had some help from a seamstress on the more complex parts like the hood, but it all followed the pattern. The main vest was the hardest part, after that you just have to find/make whatever other parts you want, like the black undershirt and pants, boots, belts, vambraces, pouches, etc. Looking up how other people did theirs on websites like cosplay.com ([link]) and doing lots of research on how to make things helped a lot. This was the first cosplay I made from scratch too, you just have to give yourself time and buy extra material to practice sewing on to allow yourself to make mistakes 8) Let me know how it goes if you decide to do it! And good luck!
Aww thank yous ;v; Yeah, I made everything myself apart from the boots, gloves, and belts, haha 8) I posted a bunch of concepts and my final design on tumblr when I first started on it: [link] I had been wanting to make an Assassin cosplay for years, so I finally did this for this year's Comic-con c8
